Driving too fast makes it much more likely that your car will start sliding out of control on the wet roads. Slower speeds give your tires a better grip. They also give you more time to react if something unexpected happens up ahead.<\/p><p>A good rule is to reduce your speed by 10-20 km\/hr from the posted speed limit when driving in light rain.
